Ingredients

7 oz. Milk

2 ¼ Tsp Yeast (or 1 packet)

3 Tbls Sugar

1 Tsp Salt

1 Large Egg (Room Temp)

3 Tbls Melted Butter (Salted or Unsalted)

3 Cups Bread Flour

Directions

  1. Warm milk to 110 degrees or just warm to the touch. (Too warm will kill the yeast)
  2. In a bowl add Salt, Sugar, Egg, Melted Butter and Yeast to warm milk and mix well.
  3. Add Flour to the wet mixture.
  4. Turn dough mixture out on a lightly floured surface.
  5. Dough should be a little sticky. If too sticky add a little flour.
  6. If too dry add very little water at a time. Tacky to the touch.
  7. Knead for 15 Minutes.

IN THE BREAD MACHINE … dough the easy way

  1. Add Warm Milk, Salt, Sugar, Egg, Melted Butter and Yeast to your bread machine.
  2. Add Flour and start dough setting on your machine.
