Ingredients
7 oz. Milk
2 ¼ Tsp Yeast (or 1 packet)
3 Tbls Sugar
1 Tsp Salt
1 Large Egg (Room Temp)
3 Tbls Melted Butter (Salted or Unsalted)
3 Cups Bread Flour
Directions
- Warm milk to 110 degrees or just warm to the touch. (Too warm will kill the yeast)
- In a bowl add Salt, Sugar, Egg, Melted Butter and Yeast to warm milk and mix well.
- Add Flour to the wet mixture.
- Turn dough mixture out on a lightly floured surface.
- Dough should be a little sticky. If too sticky add a little flour.
- If too dry add very little water at a time. Tacky to the touch.
- Knead for 15 Minutes.
IN THE BREAD MACHINE … dough the easy way
- Add Warm Milk, Salt, Sugar, Egg, Melted Butter and Yeast to your bread machine.
- Add Flour and start dough setting on your machine.
